and SYSPERTEC Communication sign a partnership agreement
in the domain of credit risks
In the context of this agreement, Linedata Services
will integrate SysperTec’s SYNAPSE solution into
its EKIP Finance sector software package. It will thus
be able to offer finance establishments a complete,

number of information servers in France and across Europe
(national bank files, registries, Coface, Dun &

Virtel new functionality enhances application interoperability.
The latest release of Virtel for
z/OS and VSE enables the transformation of legacy applications
into dynamic web applications and facilitates their
integration into the enterprise global information system.
VIRTEL enables the creation of real dynamic web applications
directly from enterprises transactional legacy applications.
The principle is simple: re-use the mainframe proven
developments and simplify their transformation into
web applications, or web services, without any dispersion
of code. The implementation of these evolutions enables
enterprises to drive their web interface directly from
their CICS applications.

organises its International Development Strategy
Following an initial success which proved Virtel to
be an excellent solution for foreign companies or international
French companies that want to web-enabling their legacy
applications, SysperTec decided to deploy a real international
development strategy.

From release 4.27, Virtel
enables access of all 3270 applications
from a web browser

The release4.27 of Virtel integrates new functionalities
that simplify access and use of 3270 applications from
any terminal with always the same characteristics: simplicity,
rapidity of implementation, performance and security
of access.
Among the main improvements, we can list:
multilingual
access to 3270 applications from a web browser.
VIRTEL interprets automatically all international characters
with their specificities: it dynamically converts DBCS
character sets (Chinese, Japanese…) and enables
the complete webification of international 3270 applications.
simplicity
and modularity of printings: you can do selective
captures of web-to-host 3270 screen in order to choose
the information you want to print.
easy
creation of Web dynamic application from a 3270 application,
at a low cost and in a short time.
You just have to add a few lines of code in VIRTEL scripts
and you can dynamically obtain a new web design application
you can access from any web browser: new ergonomics
of navigation and new design (graphic chart, combo boxes,
dynamic lists…)
integration
of e-mails.
This new function of VIRTEL allows you to activate an
application on reception of an e-mail or/and to send
an e-mail from a VTAM application. Rules enable to switch
the incoming e-mail to an application that can control
specific references and use a structured field to extract
data from the e-mail. An answer can be e-mailed using
the same structured field.
