IBM i communications under control with TBT400 and MultiTBT

TBT400, the optimal file transfer solution on IBM i

Native iSeries software solution, TBT400 integrates naturally with existing applications: with no need of a dedicated front-end computer, it benefits from existing operations and network infrastructure to ensure end-to-end, business-to-business communication. This modular and scalable (depending on communication volumes, scanning mode and access to data, etc.) platform manages file transfers both internally and externally (partners, customers, suppliers...) via existing protocols and networks. With TBT400, every transaction is fully traceable from the moment the information is sent to the end of its processing.

  • Security & automation, in tight flow and/or by session
  • Complete analytical follow-up with alerts
  • Integrated operations planning
  • File/data transfer protocols: AS2, EBICS, secure FTP, SFTP/SSH, Odette FTP v1 and v2, PeSIT, SMTP, X400, TBT (proprietary protocol)
  • Network protocols: RNIS, TCP/IP, VPN/IPSEC, XOT
  • Encryption: SSL/TLS, SMIME, CMS

Although TBT400 can very well operate on its own, it can also be coupled with TBT EDI (a multi-protocol EDI translator) to form TBT AES, IPLS' integrated solution for file transfer and translation.

Centralize all company flows with MultiTBT

To enhance communication security between the company and the outside world, IPLS offers a multi-site version of TBT400 which goal is to centralize all business flows. Composed of modules MultiTBT Client and MultiTBT Server, the solution naturally benefits from all the features offered by TBT400.
Installed on a front-end machine, MultiTBT Server completely isolates the local network and provides effective protection within a secure architecture. This element can also use a VPN, and also integrates a protocol break, cornerstone of DMZ architectures.
The MultiTBT Client module (in fact, one copy of TBT400), installed on each application machine of the infrastructure that requires it, manages communications within the company network.
